“In association with The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG), One Toronto Gaming locations, including Casino Woodbine and the Yorkdale Mall have temporarily suspended all casino gaming operations. We sincerely appreciate your patience during this time.”

It seems that these two casinos have been shut down due to the fact that they received a notice from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation stating that the casino was considered an imminent danger to the public. This is the first indication of the casino’s involvement as the gaming location. In fact, there are rumors that the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation are planning to sue the Toronto casinos over the closure of their casinos.

What is interesting about this whole story is that it has given rise to a lot of speculation as to whether or not these casinos will ever be able to operate as an open casino again. As it is, the City of Toronto is now trying to take over these properties from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation. If the city were to take control, then these two casinos would become the property of the City of Toronto. However, this may still be a few months away if this matter is not resolved by the courts.

If you are familiar with the gaming industry and how this type of property is handled, then you may have been aware of this scenario already. A few years ago, one casino was actually bought by a private investor. This casino later closed its doors due to the fact that the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation were not happy with the ownership change.

Another casino that is expected to close down soon is that of the Yorkdale Mall. According to the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation’s official website, the location had previously been approved by the OLC but was subsequently denied by the City of Toronto. Since this news came out, many speculate that the city is trying to get some money back from the OLC in the form of fines for failing to have the casino meet all required requirements.

The mayor of Toronto and the city council may decide to hold a press conference regarding the opening of the casino in Toronto and is going to announce the opening of the casino as well as the casino in Toronto. However, this could be a little bit of a publicity stunt and will most likely only attract more negative attention. It remains to be seen what the future holds for the new casino.
